We’re right here — Neutral Bay’s local bike workshop

Brads Bikes is based in Neutral Bay, which means if you live or work in the suburb, we couldn’t be much more convenient.

We’re on Military Road, easy to find, with street parking on Grosvenor Street right outside.

If you’ve commuted along Military Road, ridden the Kurraba Point loop or taken your bike to the foreshore along Hayes Street, there’s a good chance you’ve ridden past us. We’re a proper workshop run by qualified mechanics — not a big-box retailer where your bike sits in a queue for a week.

We give honest assessments, transparent pricing, and turn bikes around as quickly as the job allows. Walk-ins are always welcome for quick fixes, and we’re happy to take a look and give you a quote before you commit to anything.

Being local, we see the full range of Neutral Bay riding — road bikes from the Military Road and harbour commute crowd, recreational hybrids, and the occasional mountain bike from riders who use us as a base before heading north. Because we’re the local shop, we also tend to be the first call for quick fixes: loose bolts, rattles, creaks and mystery noises that riders want sorted before their next ride.

Finding us in Neutral Bay

On Military Road: We’re on Military Road, the main arterial through Neutral Bay. If you’re coming from the city side, head north over the bridge and we’re on the left. From the Mosman direction, head east along Military Road — we’re on the right before Neutral Bay Junction.
Parking: Street parking on Grosvenor Street and surrounding residential streets. Council parking is also available on Military Road itself, with 2-hour zones during the week.
By bus: Neutral Bay Junction is one of the North Shore’s best-served bus stops. The 247, 250, 257, 273, 274, 290 and 291 all stop here. Walk from the junction — we’re less than 5 minutes on foot.
By bike: Roll in. We’re on the main road. There’s a bike rack outside.
